American Energy Renaissance at Risk

American Energy Renaissance at Risk

The American Energy Renaissance is the single-most defining aspect on this planet today that will shape the next 50 years. Thanks to the genius of America's independent oil and natural gas producers, the world is moving from a concept of "resource scarcity" toward "resource abundance." This is the modern miracle of American oil and natural gas.

We must allow crude oil exports to develop America's resource potential. Developing America's resources decreases our dependence on foreign oil.

The American Energy Renaissance is at risk due to two factors

#1 OPEC Oil Price Manipulation

Thanks to OPEC's predatory pricing, here's what's happening right now:

#2 Foreign Conversion of US Refining Capacity

Restricted US refining capacity is putting the entire American Energy Renaissance at risk and making America vulnerable to OPEC manipulation.

28% of US refining capacity is foreign-owned, and nearly all of it is configured for their heavy sour crude. America's light sweet crude oil has NO PLACE TO GO.

West Coast refinery operating margins are at the highest ever.

Refiners are making record profits at the EXPENSE OF AMERICAN CONSUMERS. America has lost $134 billion in revenue to date.

The situation is now urgent. If we do not lift the ban on US crude oil exports:

If Iran gets to export, why can't we?
