Obama FY2015 budget targets oil, natural gas development
Wall Street Journal
(03.04.2014) President Barack Obama in his fiscal 2015 budget plan is calling to eliminate certain payments related to oil, natural gas, coal and other mineral development on public lands, which would save $2.7 billion over 10 years, according to the plan.
The proposal was included in last year’s White House budget and is line with Obama’s parallel call to eliminate oil and natural gas tax breaks.
