Peter Regan, Congressional and Alliance Liaison
Peter Regan is the Director of Finance/Investor Relations of Domestic Energy Producers Alliance (DEPA). He works with the oil and gas industry on national policy initiatives. Peter is Principal of Omega Capital which specialize in business opportunities and development including real estate, oil/gas. Peter is also Chairman/Attorney at Law of Devonshire Law, PC. As a Tulsa native, Pete holds a master’s degree in political science/urban affairs from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma. He has a strong background in public policy, having served as an aide to a U.S. Senator and President Pro Tempore of the state senate, among other legislative staff leadership positions. He has served as in-house counsel to a privately held business as well as of counsel to one of the leading law firms in Oklahoma.
In addition to his legal and investment work, Pete has devoted more than 15 years to public service. He has served under the presidents of the University of Central Oklahoma and the University of Oklahoma. He received a mayoral appointment to the Tulsa Economic Development Commission, and in 2011 was re-appointed by Gov. Mary Fallin to the Oklahoma Transportation Commission and kept this position for 12 years. Previously, he was a director of the Grand River Dam Authority. Pete also has had leadership roles with numerous organizations, including the Nigh Leadership Academy, the Oklahoma Aquarium Foundation, the Jim Thorpe Association, and the University Hospitals Authority and Trust.
At present, Pete lives in Tulsa with his son Jack. He serves on the Liberal Arts Advisory Board at his alma mater, the University of Central Oklahoma, and is co-chair of the Center for Legislative Excellence. He serves on the Board at Miratech Corporation, Onefire Holdings, and as a board observer for CareATC and Raisbeck Engineering. Pete is a member of Leadership Oklahoma Class of XXVII.
